My 360 is Screwed Up

Since Friday night my 360 has randomly frozen during xbox live matches and i just blew it off thinking it just over heated and needed to stay off for a while.
So then on Saturday night it started again, but more frequent and around the same time from me turning it on to it freezing.
So now today, Sunday afternoon i turn it on and it freezes in the Dashboard and not just an online match. I turn it off and then when i turn it on the lights are flashing red and it wont even show up on the TV.

WTF is going on!!!!

you had to go exchange it for a new one?

that sucks dude, you need to exchange it. I think all your gamepoints and game data will be erased. I think.

no,they will give you your HD.....but ask if they forget!!

yea i called Best Buy today and i gave them my information and a bunch of other numbers and crap. They said it will take a while to give me another since i dont have the official reciept and they have to look me up in the archives and stuff.

They said by tomorrow they will call me back.

yea this happened to me once before.
you cant use certain things that you downloaded one your first 360 if you have your old HDD.
you'll have to re-download them.

well good thing its not my harddrive thats not the problem

Call micro soft they pay for the shipping now and have extended the warranties for a year, It's been a big problem. We had to send ours in after a month and they sent us a refurbished one, that's been a little off lately, but we called and they'll replace our replacement too. good luck

I finally got it all worked out.
They said there going to send a box for me to send my 360 in, it will take about 2 weeks for it to get there/get fixed/and return to me, but it will all be free.

Don't exchange it yet, clean out your Xbox 360 with a clean wet towel. If you have your Xbox 360 in months, the dust will build up inside and outside like a Computer. Do not blow the dust, it will cause severe damage unless you could blow all of the dust really hard to keep it on one spot.

Second, make sure you're not using the Xbox 360 at least five hours per day, it can cause overheating problems and may melt your CDs if it spins that long.

i have played my 360 for a whole day maybe 5-8 hours.
and nothing happens.
but then again you have been saying this for awhile.

...and you call it a "propaganda", infact I read it somewhere through user experiences. Not every single Xbox 360 is the same, some may break through the first try, some can survive through twenty-four hours but it depends. If you say that your Xbox 360 can survive so long, doesn't mean it's "exactly" the same as the rest. That's like calling everybody born in Asia (Especially the islands) has to be chinese.

It's not a propaganda, as I said I have read it somewhere through user experiences. For all we know of, my Xbox is one of the oldest that plays FarCry, and I got my Xbox two months after Halo 2 was released. And maybe one of the oldest gamertags that plays FarCry as well that started by July.

you know what i dont care anymore.

UPS showed up today finally and they had, you guessed it, MY XBOX!!
